Bill Cosby Gives TV Interview On Rape Accusations

Bill Cosby has now publicly spoken out on the multiple allegations of sexual assault that have been made against him, in an interview with ABC News.

“It’s interesting. When I talk to people they will say, ‘This is a situation that’s unprecedented,’” Cosby can be heard saying in a sneak peek aired Friday on Good Morning America. “I, my family, my friends… I have been in this business 52 years. I’ve never seen anything like this. And reality is the situation… And I… I can’t speak.”

Cosby also described his response to people who bring up the allegations in front of him — and how he stops that conversation when they do: “My point is, ‘OK, listen to me carefully. I’m telling you where the road is out. I’m telling you where, as you drive, you are going to go into the water. Now, you want to go here or you want to be concerned about who is giving you the message?’”

Cosby has been accused by more than 30 women of sexual assault. He has never been officially charged with any crime.
